Crimson Dragoons - DKP System/Rules

ZERO SUM DKP

We use a Zero Sum DKP system with a few modifications. Each Item is assigned an set value beforehand. When an item drops we decide which appropriate classes can recieve the item and consult the DKP standings. Raiders and above get first choice then followed by Members, New Recruits and Non Riaders. If the person who is first wants the item they then take it otherwise we then continue down the list till someone wants it. The items DKP value is deducted from there total. If no one wants it it is then disenchanted or given to someone for repair cost. At the end of raid we then calcute the DKP people have earned.

Earned DKP is calculated by couple of things.

First off all the items that drop that night are divided by the number of people in the raid instance and on the waiting list(Person must be online on there main)at the time it drops. Example: Say an Item drop that cost 80 dkp and there was a total of 28 people(25 in raid and 3 on waiting list). Each person would recieve 2.86. An item that is disenchanted does not produce dkp.

Secondly for members that are guild rank raider or above they recieve a bonus 2DKP on learning bosses. This is applied if we down the boss or are learning him. (Learning bosses are one we have killed less then 3 times)

There are also a few times you can have DKP deducted if your guild rank is raider or above. If you sign up for a raid and are late you are penilized 2dkp. If you dont show at all it is 5dkp. If you dont make 66% of raids in a week you are penilized 10 dkp. (If your unable to make it and have perviously talked to officer about it you wont be penilized)

There are also a few times you can have DKP deducted if your guild rank is Member. If you sign up for a raid and dont show at all it is -2dkp. If you dont make one raid in a week you are penilized 5 dkp. (If your unable to make it and have perviously talked to officer about it you wont be penilized)

To clarify for people the raid week starts on Sunday and ends on Thursday. You have till 30 mins before raid to resign or change status to reserve. You are required to post extended away msg 1 week in advance. If during week you decide you cannot make raids you still will be pentilized for the week but not for any proceeeding weeks.
